EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR UNDER-RESOURCED STUDENTS OF THE UNIVERISTY OF GHANA.

On March 17, 2023, President Veronica Safoa Owusu, CEO Lawrence Owusu Fianko, and Chief Operations Officer Joseph Hamelo led the EduCom team in visiting the Office of the Dean of students at the University of Ghana. The team held a meeting with Prof. Rosina Kyeremanten, the esteemed Dean of Students, as well as Selina Torrison Saaka, the assistant registrar, and the rest of their esteemed team.

The purpose of the meeting was clear: to discuss a range of initiatives aimed at ensuring that no student is left behind. At the top of the agenda was EduCom's plan to provide scholarships to selected final-year students who were facing challenges graduating due to unpaid fees. The team was determined to do whatever it takes to ensure that these students are able to complete their studies and graduate with their peers.

As the meeting unfolded, it was clear that the passion and dedication of the EduCom team were matched only by that of Prof. Rosina Kyeremanten and her team. The conversation was robust, with everyone contributing ideas and perspectives on how to best support these students. There was a palpable sense of excitement in the air, as everyone present was committed to finding a way forward.

And the good news is that the conversation is far from over. The EduCom team is already hard at work, putting together plans to execute on the initiatives discussed during the meeting. We are confident that this collaboration will have a significant impact on the lives of many students and contribute to the growth and development of our society as a whole

As a team, EduCom is committed to ensuring that all students have equal access to education, regardless of their financial circumstances. We believe that every student deserves the opportunity to graduate and pursue their dreams, and we are fully committed to making that a reality.

At EduCom, we are passionate about creating positive change and making a difference in the lives of those around us. We believe that education is a fundamental human right, and we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that it is accessible to all. Join us on this journey towards a brighter future, where every student has the opportunity to realize their full potential.

Special thanks to Doctoral Researcher Christian K. Atadika for organizing the meeting
